Atlas Security has joined the International Professional Security Association (IPSA)

We are proud to share that Atlas Security has joined the International Professional Security Association (IPSA), the UK’s largest membership association for security professionals.

The membership forms part of our continued investment in the people who deliver security services across our clients’ sites every day. Our operatives are often the first point of contact for building users and members of the public, acting as an extension of our client’s team to support a safe and welcoming experience.

Through IPSA, our colleagues will have access to additional industry training, professional development opportunities, mentoring, networking events, and welfare support. These resources give our teams more ways to develop their skills, share knowledge with others in the sector, stay informed about best practice, and build confidence at work.

It creates another route into development and recognition. Security is a skilled profession that relies on judgement, awareness, communication and calm decision-making. The IPSA membership will help our colleagues continue building those skills, whether they are new to the sector or developing within long term careers.

For our clients, this investment has a practical impact on the sites we support. When security teams are well trained and properly supported, sites are better prepared for the daily realities of security, from responding to incidents and maintaining consistent standards, to communicating clearly with building users and providing a reliable, professional presence.

“Our officers play an important role in the daily experience of a site. They protect buildings, support people, respond to issues and often act as one of the most visible representatives of both Atlas and our clients. Joining IPSA gives them access to more training, mentoring and professional support, helping them continue to develop their skills and confidence. Joining IPSA also aligns with our commitment to raising standards across the security sector. The association champions professional development, ethical practice, and greater recognition for frontline security professionals - values and ambitions that closely reflect our own.”
Lee Humphries
Operations Director
"We are delighted to welcome Atlas Security as a Corporate Member of IPSA. Their commitment to professionalism, people development and raising standards across the security sector aligns strongly with our mission. By joining IPSA, Atlas Security is investing in its people, providing access to professional development, industry resources and a wider community of security professionals. We look forward to working together to support their continued growth and to drive positive change across our sector."
Satia Rai
CEO, IPSA

As Atlas Security continues to grow, we remain focused on building a team that is skilled, supported and proud of the work it delivers. IPSA gives us another practical way to do that by connecting our officers with a wider professional community and resources specifically designed for their roles.

This membership is another step forward as we continue to raise standards and support our teams. We look forward to working alongside IPSA and contributing to the ongoing development of the security sector.
